Assistant Professor in Cognitive Psychology Arizona State University –a leader in innovation- and the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences invite applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in cognitive psychology, beginning Fall 2017.

Applicants are required to have a PhD in psychology or cognitive science by time of appointment, must provide evidence of an ongoing research program, demonstrate potential for securing extramural funding, and possess a level of publication consistent with experience. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a program of research with national and international reputation, to have a deep commitment to student learning and engagement, teaching both core and specialty courses in cognitive psychology at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and to regularly engage in service to the profession, the institution, and the community. Preference will be given to candidates whose research complements existing faculty strengths including, but not limited to, cognitive development, cognition and emotion, social cognition, decision making, or cognitive neuroscience.
