The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Johns Hopkins University seeks a full-time, tenure-track Assistant, Associate, or early Full Professor with a focus on cognitive development, to start July, 2019. The successful candidate will establish an active, externally funded research program in any cognitively or perceptually focused area of developmental psychology. Areas of research could include (but are not limited to) development of concepts, memory, attention, perception, cognitive control, social cognition, or learning. The Department is conducting a broad and inclusive search and is committed to identifying candidates who will contribute to the diversity and excellence of our academic community. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Psychology, Cognitive Science, or related field by the start of the position.
The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences is located on the Homewood Campus of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and maintains close ties and collaborative relationships with the Departments of Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, and Philosophy.
