Lecturer in Psychology: Experimental psychology. Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track lecturer, beginning summer 2017. This is a 3-year, renewable, 48-week/year appointment. Summer salary is included.

The position requires teaching, scholarship, and managing a psychology lab shared among the psychology faculty. Teaching load is 4/4; lab management accounts for one of these courses each semester. Other courses may include introductory psychology, research methods, or statistics, as well as courses in the candidate’s area of interest. Applicants with interest in teaching applied courses in areas such as human factors, human computer interaction, psychology of gaming, data visualization, or industrial organizational psychology are especially encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate should have experience in coordinating a research lab, running a subject pool, and working with technology and research equipment. Candidates should have experience teaching undergraduates, an active research agenda, and experience with supervision of undergraduate student research. A PhD is preferred; a master’s degree is required.
