Tenured associate professor position in aging and health – Rice University

Applications are invited for a tenured associate professor position in aging and health to join the Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience area in the Department of Psychology at Rice University (https://psychology.rice.edu/node/456/). We will also consider individuals at the advanced assistant level with an outstanding record.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in psychology or a related field, with a background in cognitive or affective neuroscience, with an emphasis on healthy aging and/or patient populations. Associate Professors are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and perform research in their specialized area. Therefore, the ideal candidate will have or hold promise for a national/international reputation in research on aging and its neural basis; an outstanding record of research publications and grants; excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate students; and the ability to contribute to a university focused on enhancing diversity.
