Colby College is seeking applicants for a one-year visiting position. Teaching responsibilities for this one-year position include introductory and advanced courses in sensation & perception or cognitive psychology, as well as supervision of student research. The ability to contribute to the department’s methodology and statistics offerings is desirable. The specific area of research interest is open, but we are especially interested in candidates whose research relates to human perception & action using an ecological psychology lens, or cognitive psychology using an embodied cognition approach. We are also interested in candidates who are committed to reproducible science, and who have research interests that would be compatible with and complementary to the current research programs in the department.
