In addition to the neuroscientific study of music, the Department of Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour has long-standing strengths in auditory, visual and tactile sensory systems; development; computational neuroscience; behavioural neuroscience; cognition and learning; evolutionary and social psychology; and animal behaviour. The successful applicant will join a vibrant department as well as a diverse, interdisciplinary group of researchers within the McMaster Institute for Music and the Mind, and be able to engage in research in the unique facilities at the LIVELab.
