The Psychology Department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is recruiting a tenure-track Assistant Professor in applied cognitive psychology who studies how cognitive principles impact human behavior in real-world settings. Potential areas of interest include but are not limited to applying cognition to the study of medical/health decision making, education, environmental behavior, human factors, human-machine interfaces, human-animal interactions, legal issues, national security/public safety, athletic performance, and cognitive mechanisms associated with mental health or substance use.
