  • Interdisciplinary Postdoc whose interests and expertise intersect with the following project areas:

    Topic 1 - Perceptual Learning-based interventions focused on improving hearing and vision with a target of addressing perceptual and cognitive declines associated with aging.

    Topic 2 - Lifestyle interventions (including, but not limited to art-based interventions, mindfulness-meditation, motivational interviewing, meta-cognitive coaching, and multi-modal interventions).

  • The primary goal of the position is to support the Department's teaching and advising needs. The appointment is expected to begin on August 16, 2024, and will run until August 31, 2025, with the possibility of renewal for up to a maximum of three years. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the Department’s programs in Cognitive Science and Linguistics; expertise in language acquisition and/or cognitive science is desirable.

  • The Department of Psychology and Education at Mount Holyoke College invites applications for a one-year full-time visiting assistant professor in the area of biological bases of behavior (broadly construed) beginning July 1, 2024. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to teach courses that explore questions in one of our main areas of psychology (cognition, development, education, social context, psychopathology) through a biological lens; the teaching load is five courses per year.

  • Term position in social-cultural psychology, broadly defined. We are looking for candidates in any area of social-cultural psychology who are committed to effective and inclusive teaching of undergraduates in a liberal-arts setting. Teaching load is 6 courses per year, and will include Social Psychology and Introductory Psychology, and other courses that might include Research Methods, Statistics, Cultural Psychology, or other courses/topics within the candidate’s expertise as needed.

  • The Department of Psychology at the University of Richmond invites applications for a full-time, one-year visiting assistant professorship in Cognitive Science to begin on August 20, 2024. The appointment is annually renewable for up to three years, contingent upon performance, budget, and continued need.
