University College London (UCL), UK

Ye (Claudia) Zhang is a postdoctoral research fellow in the department of Experimental Psychology at University College London (UCL). After finishing her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience also from UCL, which was supported by the UCL-ORS scholarship, Ye continued her research in multimodal communication as a postdoctoral researcher in the ECOLANG project led by Prof. Gabriella Vigliocco, which is funded by the European Research Council. Ye's research focuses on understanding how language is comprehended in naturalistic multimodal contexts. Using behavioral, electrophysiological, and functional neuroimaging methods, Ye's work has revealed the dynamic ways in which multimodal signals, such as prosody, gestures, and mouth movements, can modulate online language comprehension.
